The fashion, beauty & lifestyle industry is my professional home.

Having built up the full service agency Baron & Son and managed it very successfully for 15 years, I have extensive knowledge in the areas of sourcing, production, timing & quality management. Experience in budgeting, e-commerce, category management & collection development complete my portfolio.

POV: Companies are changing rapidly, the topics of New Work & Gen Z are becoming increasingly important. Young professionals have a different idea of jobs, working models & values that make up the culture & philosophy of a company need to be redefined. At the same time, the core business, namely the development & procurement of goods, must continue.

This is where my consulting services come in. I am an expert in my field & also fascinated by the opportunities that New Work & Gen Z bring. The combination of both enables me to support companies on a professional & emotional level & lead them to defined goals.

New culture design for purchasing teams or collaboration between buyers and suppliers

Purchasing teams are ideally put together or newly formed in workshops. The question of "how do I deal with suppliers" is a key issue. Cultural influences must be taken into account & trivial thingssuch as "communicating at eye level" / "valuing the work and time of others" ultimately determine the success of buyers. They are an essential part of the image that a company presents to the outside world.

Expertise & perspective management

Collection concepts, category management, sourcing & e-commerce are aspects that are particularly important for fashion and lifestyle companies. With my 20 years of expertise in label development & production, I can provide existing teams & new employees with the latest developments in these areas.

Networking with buyers from major customers, with young start-ups & influencers gives me a holistic impression & thus the expertise to offer an appropriate approach for every need.

Success management & team skills

As an entrepreneur, it is natural to give your all, because this is the only way to secure remuneration. However, you can only expect the same attitude from employees if you bring them on board & communicate that they are part of the success & let them participate in it. The key to this is transparency and communication at eye level.

In addition to all the "hard facts", the real driving force behind a company is always the individual with all their characteristics, strengths and weaknesses. Over the years, my great affinity for interpersonal relationships & my belief in the importance of values have allowed me to develop a coaching concept with which I can sensitize employees & motivate them to perform at their best.

Intercultural onboarding for new buyers

We are currently experiencing a major shift here - more and more young university graduates are joining companies and being given tasks such as sourcing and so on. As great as it is to let these ambitious young people get started, it is all the more important to give them the basics in a CULTURAL ONBOARDING beforehand. Otherwise, valuable and good relationships with suppliers can be irrevocably ruined within a very short space of time.

Unfortunately, it is becoming increasingly necessary to learn how to treat each other well. Every employee represents the company to the outside world, so it is essential that the corporate philosophy is not only known, but also lived.
